Oxford Piano Festival

Each year the Oxford Piano Festival select a LLIMF Young Scholar to join their week-long course at St Hilda’s College at Oxford University. This year, 13 year old Julian Zhu was selected amongst some of the best young pianists around the world.

Throughout the week Julian participated in four public masterclasses with professors Colin Stone, Marilyn Engle and Oxford Piano Festival’s Artistic Director, Marios Papadopoulos, and presented an incredible performance of Chopin’s Nocturne No. 1, Op. 48 in the Participants Recital at the Jacqueline du Pré Music Building.
