New piano lab for students at Mandeville Primary School in Hackney

In June 2025, the Lang Lang Foundation launched a new piano lab for students at Mandeville Primary School in Hackney, giving pupils access to quality instruments and the opportunity to develop their creativity through piano. A meaningful step in supporting music education in the UK.

This is the first lab in Europe to feature The ONE Smart Pianos. It provides innovative technology to support music education and inspire young musicians.

To mark this special occasion, the lab’s generous donors, Lisa, Louis, and Sofia Pan, joined the celebration with a red ribbon-cutting ceremony. Both Louis and Sofia also gave special piano performances, sharing their own talents with the children, making the event all the more inspiring
