This is the Young Scholars™ International Summer Academies—the heart of the Lang Lang Young Scholars™ Program.

Every three years, only a select group of the world’s most promising young pianists is chosen to become Lang Lang Young Scholars™. At the center of the program are the Young Scholars™ International Summer Academies—extraordinary artistic experiences hosted in partnership with internationally renowned institutions, including the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, the Curtis Institute of Music, the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, the Cleveland Institute of Music, and the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków.

More than master classes or summer programs, the academies are where Young Scholars inspire one another, challenge one another, perform together, and grow together. For many, they become the defining moments of their artistic journey and the beginning of lifelong friendships within an international community of remarkable young musicians.
